Week Of June 2nd, 2026
Dear DPA Families,
This week all scholars in grades 6 – 11 will be NWEA MAP testing! It is crucial for your scholar to be in school everyday this week! MAP allows us and you to see the growth that your child has made during the past school year. It also gives us important data to help with decision making for the coming school year.
All scholars must be on-time to school EVERYDAY, in full DPA Uniform, and ready to actively & positively engage in their academics. Please see below for more information about the upcoming week!

MAP Testing |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Tuesday, June 2nd & Wednesday, June 3rd – ALL MIDDLE School SCHOLARS and High School Scholars will take MAP TESTING. MAP IS MANDATORY FOR ALL SCHOLARS. MAP is an adaptive test that shows how much scholars have grown in reading and math – from fall to spring and from year to year. In addition, MAP is aligned to other standardized tests such as DcCAPE and the SAT. When scholars show their growth on MAP, they set themselves up for success in the future. MAP also provides helpful comparison data to other scholars across the country. We will share these reports with you so you know how your scholar is performing and their progress towards college readiness. Finally, we use the data compiled from MAP testing to make important decisions for the coming school year. |
